The term "menopause" comes from two Greek words that mean month and to end.It translates as the end of the monthlies.The medical definition of menopause is the absence of menstruation for 12 months. It can occur between the age of 45 and 55. However the average age is 51. Menopause also occurs when a woman's uterus and ovaries are surgically removed. A woman may notice changes in her menstrual cycle several years before true menopause. Menopausal problems are caused by declining oestrogen levels.Research has shown that long term use of the Medical Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) could pose health risks. This medical treatment is questionable, causing a six-fold increase in risk in uterine cancer, 50% increase in risk for breast cancer and three-fold increase in heart disease. Some women feel the risks that come with HRT are greater than the benefits. Menso-P is a specially formulated herbal compound made for women during either their pre-menopausal and/or their menopausal stages. Many of the herbs used contain plant estrogens that are hormone regulators of natural progesterone and estrogen. Dosage

2 capsules with milk twice a day. Best used for 6 months or more.
